Came across this photo from 1925, and these interesting looking guys....
I have talked to Auntie Chrissie (whose mother was Grandma Varnavides' sister) and she believes they are Cypriots judging by the way they are dressed.
Any ideas anyone?
On the back of the photo there is a New Year wish dated 1925. Bappou emigrated to Australia in 1924, so the dates do fit...
